Samsung has become linked to an imminent tablet launch as of late, thanks to a leak concerning a series of new model numbers that could be derivatives of those for the existing Galaxy Tab S7 line. They are the SM-T730, SM-T735, SM-T736B and SM-T736N.

This has led to speculation that one could pertain to a Tab A7 Lite, whereas the others could belong to the S7 or even S8 lines on their debut. However, a new leak suggests that the SM-T735, SM-T736B and SM-T736N are all different variants of the same slate: the Tab S7+ Lite.

MySmartPrice claims to have found references to the SM-T735N and SM-T736N on what the blog asserts is a "firmware" database, alongside a graphic of uncertain provenance that identifies them as the Galaxy Tab S7+ Lite 4G/LTE and 5G for the South Korean market respectively.

This material's iffy origins notwithstanding, it does appear to have authentic-looking Samsung styling, down to what looks very like the font typically used on its official marketing and online copy. Should it prove genuine, the seeming product-name key unequivocally states that the 5 in this device's model number denotes 4G/LTE connectivity, whereas 6 indicates 5G.

This contradicts earlier speculation that the 2 are different machines altogether, and also implies that the SM-T736B spotted on Geekbench previously is in fact a Galaxy Tab S7+ Lite 5G destined for a different region. According to that leak, it may arrive there with a Snapdragon processor, 4GB of RAM and Android 11 out of the box.
